Data Deletion

How to remove FailPack reports, artifacts, cloud projects, workspaces, OAuth-linked data, and accounts.

These documents are written for FailPack users and reviewers. They describe how the product is intended to operate and are not a substitute for legal advice.

1. Overview

This page explains how FailPack users can delete reports, cloud artifacts, project data, workspace data, OAuth-linked account data, and accounts.

Deletion features may be available directly in the dashboard. If a deletion action is not available in the product, contact [email protected] from the email address connected to your account.

2. Delete reports and artifacts

  • Sign in to the FailPack dashboard.
  • Open Dashboard, then Reports.
  • Select the report you want to remove.
  • Use the delete action and confirm the custom confirmation dialog.
  • FailPack will remove report metadata and schedule private cloud artifacts for deletion according to storage processing rules.

3. Delete cloud projects

Cloud projects can contain report history, versions, manifests, and artifact references. Delete project data from the dashboard where available or request deletion by emailing [email protected] with the workspace name and project identifier.

4. Delete workspace data

Workspace deletion may remove workspace membership, project records, reports, artifacts, agent runs, audit history that is not legally required, and related settings. Workspace deletion may require owner approval and may not be reversible.

5. Delete OAuth-linked data

If you signed in with Google or GitHub, you can request deletion of account data connected to that OAuth provider by contacting [email protected] from the same email address. You may also revoke FailPack access in the OAuth provider's security settings.

Revoking OAuth access at the provider may stop future sign-ins but does not automatically delete existing FailPack account, workspace, billing, or report data.

6. Delete your account

  • Email [email protected] from the email address on the account.
  • Use the subject Account deletion request.
  • Include the workspace names you own and whether you want owned workspaces deleted or transferred.
  • We may ask for verification before deleting an account to prevent unauthorized deletion.

7. Retained records

Some data may be retained after deletion where required for security, abuse prevention, billing, tax, legal compliance, dispute resolution, backup recovery, or to protect the service. Retained records are limited to the purpose that requires retention.

8. Processing time

Product-level deletions usually begin immediately. Backups, storage lifecycle jobs, and provider-side deletion queues may take additional time to fully age out. Manual account or workspace deletion requests are normally reviewed within a reasonable support window.

9. Contact

Deletion requests and questions can be sent to [email protected].
